UBC earns back-to-back 6-0 shutouts

The UBC Thunderbirds baseball team defeated the visiting Thompson Rivers WolfPack 6-0 in both games this Sunday, closing our their home-opening weekend series with a sweep. UBC has won all six games against TRU this fall with only two runs against.

T-Birds take two from TRU

The UBC Thunderbirds swept their first home doubleheader of the 2015-16 NAIA baseball season, beating the visiting Thompson Rivers WolfPack 6-1 and 12-0 on Saturday at Thunderbird Park.

UBC baseball to host its first home games of the 2015-16 season

The UBC Thunderbirds baseball team will host its only home series of the fall this weekend, as they battle the Thompson Rivers WolfPack at Thunderbird Park Saturday and Sunday.

UBC Baseball Scout Day


There was an incredible turnout to yesterdays Scout day at the university with 22 of the 30 Major League teams having a representative present.  This is just the first of many occasions the MLB scouts will be out to see the 2015-2016 Thunderbirds baseball team this season.  Players they are keeping their eye on this season are RHP Curtis Taylor, 2015 San Diego Padres draft pick LHP Alex Webb, 1B Bruce Yari and OF Max Hollingsworth.
