T-Birds pull off wild comeback against Warriors, drop close one to Pioneers

The UBC Thunderbirds baseball team (10-1) used the home run to their full advantage on Monday, dialing up three long balls in a rollercoaster of a 9-7 win over the Westmont Warriors (6-1).

T-Birds split double header with Pioneers

VANCOUVER – The UBC Thunderbirds (9-1) played their first road games of 2017 in stormy, rain-soaked California over the weekend. The 'Birds travelled to Lancaster for what was supposed to be a three game weekend series with the Antelope Valley Pioneers, but heavy rain saw the game set for Sunday, February 19th rescheduled to Tuesday, February 21st.  The 'Birds and Pioneers split the doubleheader played Saturday, February 18th.

Bell Let's Talk, Canadian universities and Atlantic University Sport (AUS), Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), Ontario University Athletics (OUA), and Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) today announced a national student initiative to promote mental health on campuses across Canada.
